Masterclass and workshop sponsored by the Cleveland Cello Society. All students are welcome for the workshop at 3:00 featuring an exploration of extended techniques, creating new music, and special guest Anthony Cheung, who will speak about his piece Distance Over Speed. At 5:00 students from around NE Ohio will perform the complete collection of work from Cello Solos Today. Hear the new works of Cello Solos Today performed for the FIRST time by intrepid young cellists from around New York City, including students of Yari Bond, Margalit Cantor, Alex Croxton, Nicole Johnson, Mary Robb, as well as curator Chris Gross and special guest Fred Sherry.
